Mental Capacity Act & DoLS

Course Overview:

This half-day training course explains the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, including principles of decision-making and safeguarding vulnerable adults. It is aimed at care and healthcare staff, managers, and support workers. Staff will be able to act lawfully and ethically when supporting decision-making, protecting both individuals’ rights and the organisation from legal risks.
