Course Overview:

This half-day training course explores the types of learning disabilities and the barriers faced by individuals in daily life. It is aimed at care staff, teachers, and support workers. Staff will gain a better understanding of how to adapt communication and support, promoting inclusion and improving outcomes for individuals while strengthening organisational equality practices.

Participants attending this course must be present for the duration of the training in order to receive a certificate upon completion. Participants must not be expected to be on shift during the training and the environment must be safe and suitable for the training to be delivered.
