Dementia Awareness Training

Course Overview:

This half-day training gives an overview of dementia, its different types, and the impact it has on individuals and their families. It is designed for care staff, healthcare professionals, and anyone working with older people. Staff will be able to provide more compassionate, person-centred care, improving service quality and supporting the organisation’s reputation for dignity and respect.

🎯Recognise the importance of creating supportive environments for individuals with dementia to enhance their well-being.

🎯Explore strategies to communicate effectively with individuals with dementia and manage challenging behaviours.
