Care Planning Awareness - Wales
Course Information:
The Care Planning Awareness – Wales course is designed to equip health, social care, and support workers across Wales with an understanding of the principles, legislative context, and best practices of care planning in the Welsh system. Participants will learn how to conduct assessments, develop person-centred care plans, record meaningful observations, monitor progress, and engage collaboratively with individuals, families, and other professionals. The course also considers the Welsh legal and regulatory framework, including duties under the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 and the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016, ensuring that care planning aligns with statutory expectations and promotes well-being for service users and carers.
