Train the Trainer in

Basic Life Support First Aid

Course Overview:

The Train the Trainer in Basic Life Support (BLS) First Aid course equips participants with both the essential practical skills of BLS and the teaching techniques required to deliver this training confidently to others. The course covers the core principles of first aid, including the primary survey, assessing an unresponsive casualty, calling for help, and demonstrating effective CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants. Learners will also cover the safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), managing choking incidents, and placing casualties in the recovery position. Alongside these life-saving skills, the programme focuses on training delivery methods, lesson planning, assessing learner competence, and adapting teaching to different learning styles.
