Mental Health First Aid Champions Training
Course Overview:
This Mental Health Champions Training course equips participants with the essential knowledge, skills and confidence to act as peer-support ambassadors for mental health within your organisation or community. Over the day, participants will explore what mental health is (and isn’t), recognise early warning signs of mental ill-health (such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, psychosis) and learn how to have supportive conversations, challenge stigma and sign-post to additional support. Participants will also develop a personal and group action plan to proactively foster a mentally healthy environment.
