This one-day training course course equips staff with practical skills to handle common workplace emergencies, from bleeding and burns to choking and seizures. It is designed for nominated first aiders or anyone who may need to respond in an emergency. Staff gain vital confidence and competence, ensuring the organisation complies with workplace first aid regulations and maintains a safe environment.

Course Objectives:

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

🎯Conduct a primary survey and manage an emergency situation safely

🎯Perform CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

🎯Place a casualty into the recovery position and monitor their condition

🎯Recognise and treat common workplace injuries including burns, bleeding, and shock

🎯Respond appropriately to seizures, choking, and minor injuries

🎯Understand the role and legal responsibilities of the workplace first aider
