Train the Trainer in

Safeguarding Adults

Course Overview:

The Train the Trainer in Safeguarding Adults course equips participants with the knowledge and skills to both understand safeguarding legislation and responsibilities, and to deliver effective safeguarding training within their organisation. Learners will also explore the Care Act 2014, local safeguarding policies, whistleblowing, and the importance of promoting dignity, choice, and empowerment for adults at risk. Alongside this, the programme develops essential training delivery skills such as lesson planning, adapting content to different learning styles, assessing learner competence, and ensuring sessions are engaging, compliant, and aligned with statutory requirements.
