Course Overview:

The Train the Trainer in Manual Handling of Inanimate Objects course provides participants with the knowledge and teaching skills required to deliver safe and effective manual handling training in the workplace. The course covers the principles of safe lifting and carrying, correct posture and body mechanics, risk assessment, and how to prevent musculoskeletal injuries. Learners will explore manual handling legislation, employer and employee responsibilities, and practical demonstrations of safe techniques for moving, lifting, pushing, and pulling loads. In addition to technical content, the course develops training delivery skills such as lesson planning, engaging learners with different learning styles, assessing competence, and ensuring training sessions meet workplace health and safety standards.
