Course Overview:

The Train the Trainer in Health and Safety Awareness course equips participants with the essential knowledge of workplace health and safety principles and the skills to deliver this training effectively to others. The course covers the importance of creating a safe working environment, identifying common workplace hazards, risk assessment, accident prevention, and the role of employees and employers in maintaining safety. Learners will also explore relevant health and safety legislation, emergency procedures, manual handling basics, and workplace wellbeing. In addition, the programme focuses on training delivery skills, including lesson planning, engaging different learning styles, assessing learner competence, and ensuring training is accurate, compliant, and aligned with workplace requirements.

Participants attending this course must be present for the duration of the training in order to receive a certificate upon completion. Participants must not be expected to be on shift during the training and the environment must be safe and suitable for the training to be delivered.
